Role Title: Research Specialist / Senior Research Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth techno-commercial research and analysis in the Energy sector, covering areas such as Clean Energy, Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, Biofuels, and Decarbonization.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize market trends, emerging technologies, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes to generate actionable insights for clients.
- Support client engagements by developing industry reports, white papers, case studies, and thought leadership content.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and strategic research projects by identifying client needs and designing appropriate research solutions.
- Work collaboratively with senior team members to develop industry/capability decks and marketing outreach materials.
- Engage in primary and secondary research, conduct expert interviews, and extract key insights to support advisory projects.
- Contribute to the execution and delivery of consulting assignments, ensuring high-quality output aligned with company-defined standards and client expectations.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Energy, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
- Master’s Degree (Preferred) – MBA in Marketing, Operations, or Energy Management.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in consulting, research, or advisory within the Energy sector (Clean Energy, Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, Biofuels, Decarbonization, etc.).
- Strong domain expertise with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new and related topics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple research projects efficiently.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively.
