About the role:
The Director – Mobility Practice is a strategic leadership role at FutureBridge, driving the practice’s growth, client success, and industry influence. In this role, you will lead high-impact consulting engagements, develop thought leadership, and shape strategic initiatives that help global mobility and automotive companies navigate market disruptions, technological advancements, and sustainability goals.
This position requires a visionary mindset, deep industry expertise, and a proven ability to drive business growth. You will leverage your expertise in areas such as electrification, autonomous and connected mobility, shared transportation, and emerging mobility technologies to provide strategic direction and actionable insights to clients.
As a key leader, you will work closely with C-suite executives, cross-functional teams, and industry stakeholders to build and strengthen FutureBridge’s Mobility Practice. Additionally, you will be responsible for refining consulting methodologies, expanding market reach, and enhancing our research and advisory capabilities to deliver value-driven solutions.
Job Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
• Drive the P&L performance of Mobility Practice, optimizing global client engagement margins through data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to expand market presence, lead large-deal strategies, and position FutureBridge as a preferred strategic partner.
• Establish and nurture C-level relationships, delivering high-value advisory and consulting solutions that align with clients’ strategic priorities.
Financial & Operational Excellence
• Ensure profitability and sustainable growth by optimizing resource allocation, cost management, and operational efficiencies.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance, ensuring effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement scalable process improvement programs to enhance productivity and elevate client service quality.
Client Success & Value Creation
•Lead the delivery of high-impact consulting engagements, ensuring excellence in insights, innovation, and value-driven solutions.
•Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing client portfolios, driving account expansion and increased revenue realization.
•Develop compelling value propositions and winning strategies to strengthen FutureBridge’s positioning in the mobility and automotive sector.
Team Leadership & Development
•Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a results-driven, innovative, and client-centric culture.
•Mentor and develop future leaders, providing structured training, constructive feedback, and career growth opportunities.
•Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to enhance team effectiveness and industry expertise.
Business Development & Innovation
•Spearhead the development of new service offerings and consulting frameworks, addressing emerging mobility trends such as electrification, autonomous vehicles, and smart transportation.
•Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to refine go-to-market strategies and create impactful business development collateral.
•Drive thought leadership initiatives, contributing to industry forums, whitepapers, and strategic insights that enhance FutureBridge’s reputation in the mobility ecosystem
Required Qualifications:
Education:
•Master’s degree, preferably MBA, M.Tech
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing or Production Engineering
Experience and Expertise:
•15+ years of progressive experience in consulting or research advisory services, with substantial exposure to automotive and industrial manufacturing or industrial automation domains
•Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
•Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
•Deep understanding of mobility trends, technologies, and market dynamics

•Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
•Strong project management capabilities and experience managing multiple complex workstreams
