Role Title: Associate Director / Director / Senior Director
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, hire, build, develop, train, and mentor a team of Consultants and Research Specialists specializing in techno-commercial research & advisory services in the Energy sector (covering areas such as Clean Energy, Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, Biofuels, and Decarbonization).
- Drive revenue growth and cost efficiency at both team and group levels, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the Energy Practice, independently or in collaboration with Sales/BD teams.
- Effectively articulate research and advisory capabilities to clients, positioning the firm as a thought leader.
- Lead marketing and outreach initiatives, including industry/capability decks, white papers, thought leadership articles, and case studies.
- Lead, develop, and manage Opportunity Response Centers (ORCs), strategic programs, and large RFPs/deals:
- Gather client requirements, formulate winning research solutions, design commercial frameworks, and present compelling solutions.
- Establish and oversee processes to ensure high-quality execution of engagements within defined timelines and company standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Energy, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
- Master’s Degree – Preferably MBA (Marketing / Operations / Energy Management).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in consulting, custom research, and advisory with substantial exposure to the Energy sector (Clean Energy, Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, Biofuels, Decarbonization, etc.).
- Strong domain expertise with the ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new and related subject areas.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker with the ability to plan, delegate, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Thought leader with a strong analytical mindset, capable of driving insights and innovation in the energy sector.
